Prices are for riding around Dalat. Long-distance and one-way trips are quoted per route — just ask.
Which bike?
Lakes, cafés and the flower gardens in town: the automatic Vision or Air Blade is plenty, and easy if you have never ridden. Mountain passes, dirt roads or a trip across the country: take the Honda XR150L for its clearance and long range, or the CB150X if you want a windscreen and six gears for highway days. Still unsure? Tell us your route and how much you have ridden, and we’ll pick one with you.

One-way rentals

Before you ride
Do I need a driving licence to rent a bike?
Yes. To ride yourself you need an International Driving Permit issued under the 1968 Vienna Convention, with the motorcycle category (A), together with your home licence — Vietnamese law requires both, police checkpoints ask for them, and travel insurance usually won't pay out without them. Some countries (for example the USA, Canada and Australia) only issue the older 1949 permit; if that is you, message us before booking. No permit at all? Our guided tours put you on the back of a guide's bike, no licence needed.
Do you need my passport as a deposit?
We ask for a copy of your passport and a cash deposit. Contact us for current deposit amounts — we never keep your original passport.
How does a one-way rental work?
Pick up your bike in Dalat, ride at your own pace, and leave it with our partner in the destination city. We tell you the exact drop-off address when you book.
What happens if the bike breaks down?
Call or WhatsApp us. Most small problems are fixed at any roadside mechanic and we refund the cost. For bigger problems we arrange a replacement bike.
Where do I pick up the bike?
At our shop, 47A Nam Ky Khoi Nghia, in the centre of Dalat — a short walk from the market. We go through the bike with you, sign the contract and set you up with a helmet and phone holder.
Can I return the bike early?
Yes. Tell us as early as you can and we'll arrange the return and refund unused days.
I've only ever ridden an automatic — which bike should I take?
Start with the Honda Vision or the Air Blade. Both are automatic, so there are no gears and no clutch, and they are plenty for town, the lakes and the flower gardens. The XR150L and the CB150X are manual bikes with a clutch and need some experience, especially on mountain passes. Tell us on WhatsApp what you have ridden and where you want to go, and we'll advise which one we would give you.
How many days do I need for Dalat to Hoi An or Saigon?
We suggest 5–7 days for Dalat → Hoi An (750 km), 2–3 days for Dalat → Ho Chi Minh City (300 km) and 1–2 days for Dalat → Nha Trang (135 km). Those are relaxed paces with time to stop and look around — you can always take longer, as rentals run up to three months.
Can two people share one bike?
Yes. The Air Blade 125 comes with two helmets and has enough power for Dalat's hills with a passenger. For a long trip two-up with luggage we would suggest the XR150L or the CB150X instead — more ground clearance, a 12 L tank and a rack for your bags.
